Town Planning approval for King’s Road Scheme
RBK&C has granted permission for a mixed-use residential and commercial project at the corner of King’s Road and Old Church Street, Chelsea. The scheme for The Cadogan Estate designed by Garnett & Partners will involve rebuilding of nos. 60-62 Old Church Street and redevelopment and extension of nos. 296-298 King’s Road. Located within the Chelsea Park Carlyle Conservation Area, the project comprises some 1,200sqM of accommodation including an enlarged public house / restaurant unit, a ground floor retail unit and five residential units. The buildings, which include The Cadogan Arms public house, have many interesting historic features dating from the latter half of the 19th Century which will be retained to add character to the high quality development.
