Legal and General appoints Garnett & Partners on Covent Garden Refurbishment
Legal and General Asset Management have been appointed Garnett & Partners as Architect and Lead Designer on the comprehensive refurbishment of their 1930’s mixed office and retail building in Covent Garden. The 11,000sqft scheme involves a renovation of the entrance hall, common areas, toilets and three office floors featuring exposed steel beams, cast iron columns and art-deco detailing. The Cat ‘A’ refurbishment also includes redesign of the entrance elevation and new comfort cooling with exposed M&E Services. The project is expected to complete in the 3rd quarter of 2017. G&P will be working in conjunction with project managers Potter Raper Partnership who will lead the project team, and with letting agents CBRE and Hanover Green.
