Redevelopment as part of a 7,000sqm. mixed use regeneration scheme in Bloomsbury, London WC1. Located at the junction of Store Street and Ridgmount Street, the 1,400sqm development includes reconstruction of the former Bloomsbury Petrol Station and forecourt dating from 1926 which has been converted to a new restaurant. The project features a new BREEAM Excellent office building arranged over three levels, and while to the rear the Grade II Listed former private dining room of the Academy Hotel has been restored as a suite of offices. The flank wall of the new office building facing Store Street incorporates an art panel of painted ceramic tiles by Brian James.
