Christian Garnett
MA(Cantab)DipArch RIBA
Graduated with distinction from University of Cambridge in 1986, trained at Sheppard Robson Architects and later
worked with Sir Terry Farrell & Company on design of the Embankment Place air-rights building at Charing Cross.
After spells as a designer in Sydney and New York, he joined the late great Franklin Israel’s office in Los Angeles
to act as project architect on an acclaimed residential scheme in association with Frank O. Gehry. Since returning
to London to launch the practice in the early 1990s Christian has completed many successful and award winning projects
and now represents a number of long standing corporate and private clients including great estates, leading developers
and multinational end users. Christian has overall responsibility for the direction and evolution of design.
Tony Tugwell
AADip RIBA
Studied at the Architectural Association and worked with the Casson Condor Partnership, becoming a partner in 1982.
Joined Garnett+Partners as Partner in 1999. Tony has extensive conservation experience and has acted as lead architect
on many renovation projects involving listed buildings including The House of Commons, The Royal College of Music and
Hampton Court Palace. With G+P Tony has been partner-in-charge on Listed Building projects for Cadogan Estate, The Portman
Estate, Bedford Estates and many others including commercial, residential and mixed schemes on difficult urban sites within
conservation areas. As a Partner, Tony is responsible for project procurement and technical design across the practice.
Paul Dickson
Bsc BArch Hons RIBA
Career background: Qualified with honours at the Duncan of Jordanstone School of Architecture, Dundee University in 2004,
gaining design awards including the Dundee Council Civic Award. Paul worked for Fraser Brown MacKenna in London, on student
accommodation for the University of East London and on a number of limited competitions before joining Garnett+Partners in 2006.
At G+P, Paul has contributed to several residential and commercial projects, including a new office building at Portman Mews
South for The Portman Estate, and redevelopment of 1-5 Lower George Street, Richmond for Wereldhave Property Corporation.
Paul has responsibility for G+P’s expanding retail portfolio and was made partner of the practice in 2011.
